6:37 AM -

Weaved the freeform trial in what was the Green Zone, senseless, traffic heavy in the Red Zone. All quiet on the current perimeter, cat hiding out in cardboard fortress.

4:44 AM -

No traffic but many distracting signs, cat awake but immobile, a lamp past the boxes but nothing is plugged in. I forgot about having to eat.

11:40 PM -

Saw through the plants out in the garden. Seems they talk to the cat. Keep giving away pumpkin but it keeps growing. Seems that every time I try and make a peanuts reference I just wish I had watched more Peanuts cartoons. The pink dog has stopped moving, but the other animals are still there. Why are they in the house and not in the backyard? Traffic today: sparse.

6:55 AM -

Hypocrisy winning, seems to be oozing my paws. Fuck, when did I become a god? I mean dog... Traffic heavy yesterday.

10:12 PM -

Drove a tank through the middle of the city today, traffic not such a problem when tank driving. Escorted aliens, their English was better than mine. Cat was unfazed. Home later than I would like.

8:14 AM -

Still in traffic, but contact established with aliens, appear friendly but make sudden moves, talk only in verse, I wish I could rhyme, will try haiku and free verse in equal measure.

7:51 AM -

Stuck in traffic, still holding out for arrival of Botswana Brigands, little hope for girl in car across from me, mother appears more intent on flashing bright lights - still hear ringing, contemplating use of pumpkin on unwanted visitor sitting on carseat next to me, noise likely coming from him.

Canberra Roller Derby League – Burley Babes vs. Black Hat Belles!

The Canberra Roller Derby League comes with the Good - the Surley Griffins down-the-line Derby lashings; the Bad - Black & Blue Belles ladling cold cheating; and the Ugly – blind-one-eyed referees. Game 1, 24 October, Bambi Von Smash’er and Sue R. Rat carve the Belle’s defence, Dee Nature shutters with elbows and legs - the Burley Babes win 145 to 109. Game 2, 21 November, the Belles payoff, DutchAss’s dirty defence, Shaggle Frock’s pace, the refs in Belle’s uniforms, the Griffins outweighed 145-108. Two sold-out games down, one victory each a final to a packed hot-house, there will be blood.
